How Words Move Me - Interactive Typographic Installation

Interactive Typographic Installation

Large scale interactive art installation exploring typography, and its connection to people

An abstract typographic installation exploring the relationship between language, human presence, and interaction.

The project consists of a room-scale environment submerged in dynamic, projected typography and vector forms. Each shape and typographic element is generated in real time, responding to movement and presence, ensuring that every interaction produces a unique visual outcome.

By placing viewers within the projection itself, the work transforms the audience from passive observers into active participants. The installation explores how words, technology, and human presence intersect, forming a shared system in which interaction and meaning continuously evolve.

The project reflects on themes of empathy, connection, and shared human experience, using abstraction and generative typography to visualise the impact of individual actions within a collective space.

Video embedded below demonstrates how the type generates and is manipulated by a person in the exhibition space
